EHTTA VICE-CHAIR SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE

At the General Assembly in Evian, November 2011,the European Historical Thermal Town Association (EHTTA) established the work of a Scientific Committee of experts.This work will support the overall Objectives of the Association as established in the Statutes of the Association. A further three General Themes were also established at the time of application for European Route of Historic Thermal Towns: The valorisation of thermal cultural heritage in Europe. The revitalisation of the historical traditions of European thermal towns.The promotion of the European spa towns’ heritage and concepts of welfare and health

Mario Crecente PhD Architect, and Crecente asociados  general manager, develop his new responsibilities as Vice-chair of Scientific Committee of European Historical Thermal Town Association, in a program that attend to define the scientific perspective of the European Thermal Heritage’s, the maintenance of the standards of the Cultural Route in Thermal Towns, and to promote proposals to develop these objectives.

With these objectives, and in close collaboration with the chairman of the scientific committee, Mario assist to the meetings in Paris (F), Bath (UK) and Montecatini Terme (Italy) to develop these issues, and support city member’s consultations.Also develop specific works in Scientific Research, Call for Proposals, and to reinforce cooperation of spa towns and spas at transnational level.
