Historic Image of the Balneario de Lugo and its Surroundings
We are compiling historical pictures of the Balneario de Lugo and its surroundings as part of the research project Torres Quevedo del MINECO, that we developed in collaboration with our archaeologist partner Silvia González Soutelo.
This picture, preserved in the National Library, represents the bound of the building in the 19th century and the Miño river, the Roman bridge and the road known with the name "a volta da viña," which communicated the spa and the city centre.
We are still working on the publication of a new and thorough monography about the Balneario de Lugo and its heritage distinction in order to enhance its value and diffusion. We are collaborating with main field specialists and experts in the building and its surroundings.
