Description:
Casa de la Estrella, or Casa de Cabildo, is a private-property singular civil construction located on number five of Praza das Praterías square, in the historic centre of Santiago de Compostela.
It was built by general contractor Clemente Sarela between 1754 and 1759, by order of Diego Juan de Ulloa, as a combined project of the fountain with the hippocampus that stands out in the square.
Its main mission was creating a background for the Praza das Praterías. This Restoration Master Plan, that includes the Museo del Traje, is developed to address its refurbishing according to the PEPRI regulation of Santiago de Compostela.
