Restoration of the Castle of Pambre. Palas de Rei. Lugo.
During last two months, the previous tasks of cleaning and clearing, and the pruning of the trees that are going to be preserved have been carried out in the Castle of Pambre, according to the basic and restoration execution project concerning the Castle of Pambre, presented in 2012 after the commission by the Secretary-General of Tourism.
On the other side, the archaeological trials and excavations have begun and, besides the valuable findings and materials gathered, they allowed us to discover the original plan of the second site.
The rewarding results obtained from these interventions maintain the excitement of the team, in order to continue with the work despite the meteorological conditions that significantly hinder the development.
