Session "Sanxenxo through the History"
On August 27 Mario Crecente participated in the roundtable “Arquitecture of Sanxenxo”, celebrated during the eleventh edition of the session on local history, organized by the Cultural Association of Local Studies of Sanxenxo, AELOS, between August 26 and 28 in the Auditorium Emilia Pardo Bazán.
Mario Crecente´s intervention was developed around the “Rehabilitation of the Pazo de Quintáns”. The public could view graphic materials about the historical evolution of this building located in the parish of Noalla, and learning about the various works of enhancement of the building coordinated by Crecente Asociados (Master Plan, initiation as a Property of Cultural Interest and initial rehabilitation project).
The President of AELOS and PhD Architect, Alberta Lorenzo, also took part in this panel discussion, talking about the “Rehabilitated Architectures of Sanxenxo”, focusing on the cases of the Priory of Arra and the House of Don Fernando. At the end of each presentation, an interesting colloquium between the participants and the public was moderated by the engineer Martín Padín González.
