Technical assistance to the Association of Local Councils of the Fisterra and Muxía Way

Crecente Asociados has carried out technical assistance for the management of the Association of Local Councils of the Fisterra and Muxía Way, made up of the municipalities of Ames, Cee, Corcubión, Dumbría, Fisterra, Negreira and Santiago de Compostela. The result has been the execution of the action plan designed by the Association with the aim of promoting this pilgrimage itinerary and improving the quality, competitiveness and tourist activities in 2022.

Among the actions carried out are a cycle of conferences held at the Museo do Pobo Galego and which included the participation of Manuel Castiñeiras, President of the International Committee of Experts on the Camino de Santiago; Antón Pombo, historian and journalist specializing in the Camino de Santiago; Manuel Vilar, director of the Museo do Pobo Galego; and Pepe Barro, creator of the new brand for this Camino. The conclusions of this cycle of conferences were the basis for the design of an itinerant exhibition that emphasizes the values of this Camino and around which was focused the great event held in Fisterra on December 30.

Likewise, the plan was completed with other actions in the field of training, adherence to quality marks, presentation to tour operators, study of the profile of the pilgrim, proposal for a pilgrim counting system, design of tourist experiences and different actions in terms of promotion and communication.
