The thermal cities from the perspective of endogenous development: the cases of Bath and Vichy

The 30th September the Faculty of Business Sciences and Tourism of the Campus of Ourense hosted the seminar "The thermal cities from the perspective of endogenous development: The Cases of Bath and Vichy", in which the processes of growth and structural change that are taking place in these two thermal cities were analyzed.

Coordinating by José Ángel Barquero, the seminar had with an inaugural conference by the economic professor, Antonio Vázquez Barquero, followed by a panel  on the case of Chaves and a panel on the case of Bath. This second round table was moderated by Mario Crecente and included the participation of Paul Simons, secretary general of the Great Spa Towns of Europe group of World Heritage Cities, and Kathryn Davis, director of tourism at Visit West.
