Training days on quality in the tourism sector
On request of the Iberian Association of Douro Riverside Municipalities (AIMRD) Crecente Asociados organized the "TRAINING DAYS ON TOURIST QUALITY, WITHIN THE PROJECT 0067_FLUMEN_ DURIUS_2_E, FIRST POCTEP CALL" at Casa de las Artes located in Laguna de Duero (Valladolid).
The training action, with a total of 20 hours divided into 3 days, has been addressed to municipal decision makers, municipal tourism technicians of the town councils and tourism offices dependent on them and any other administration with tourism competencies in the Norte de Portugal-Castilla y León cooperation area.
The sessions have included theoretical approach, field visits, workshops and presentations of good practice cases, from the public and private perspective. On the second day, we counted with the participation of Gonzalo Gonzalo Pita, deputy mayor of Sanxenxo, who introduced the implementation of SICTED in the municipality, and Francisco Almuíña, owner of Casa de Romualdo, who shared his experience with the certification process for Q tourist quality mark.
