Workshop "Thermal Tourism and Management. Spa in Spain". Thessaloniki. Greece
The international fair Philoxenia was held at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Conference Center between 18th and 20th November 2016. In this context, the Hellenic Association of Municipalities with Thermal Springs organized on 18th November the workshop Thermal Tourism and Management Spa in Spain – Thalassotherapy in Greece oriented to improve the knowledge of resorts managers about thermal tourism planning.
Mario Crecente was invited to make two presentations. The first one was about "Thermal Tourism in Spain: comparison with Europe", based on the book Turismo Termal en España (Thermal Tourism in Spain), published by Spains School for Industrial Organization EOI. The second one was focused on “Lugo Hotel and Spa: A Roman Therme complex today, regarding some initiatives of valorization and management of Balneario de Lugo-Termas Romanas.
