Base document for the declaration of Pazo de Lourizán as an Asset of Cultural Interest
Crecente Asociados drafted the basic document for the initiation of Pazo de Lourizán as an Asset of Cultural Interest, commissioned by Turismo de Galicia. Its development was carried in accordance with Decree 430/1991, of 30 December, regulating the declaration of Asset of Cultural Interest and creating the Galician Register of Assets of Cultural Interest.
The works was based on the analysis of the heritage values of the complex from a multidisciplinary perspective, which took into account the historical study of the area and its surroundings, the archaeological study and the architectural and urban analysis.
The result made it possible to propose the figure of Asset of Cultural Interest most adjusted to the values of the place, in this case Monument, as well as to define a specific and exhaustive delimitation of the area, and a precautionary contour. The report was accompanied by an analysis of the legal situation and a compilation of graphic documents.
