Café of Europe in Spa
On Thursday September 18th the Belgian town of Spa hosted the Café of Europe, that in this occasion had as main topic the water. Mario Crecente was invited to participate and present the case of Waterscape Ribeira Sacra, the official candidate of the State of Spain to the World Heritage List in 2026.
During his presentation, Mario Crecente spoke about the power of water as landscape designer in Ribeira Sacra, the evolution of the heritage related to water, and the role of local communities in the preservation of the landscape.
