Description:
Study on the Terra das Mariñas area based on the rural development programme Proder II and touristic development plan proposal. Evaluation of area resources, SWOT analysis and action proposals are based on a geographic information system for later applications. Characterisation of the terrain around gardens and development of actions are oriented to boost those values: garden-restaurants ("Orto das Mariñas," then "Baiucas das Mariñas"), landscaped lodgings, routes, workshops, releases, etc. Outstanding reference is made to "El Bosque Animado" (The Enchanted Forest) by WenceslaoFernándezFlórez, to the Way of Saint James and to ocean routes.
