Ribeira Sacra: MOVES Singular Projects II Program

Recently, it was reported the receipt of the provisional resolution approving the request submitted by the Ribeira Sacra Tourism Consortium to the MOVES Singular Projects II Program to design and develop the mobility proposal “La última frontera” (“the Last Frontier”).

This represents a contribution of 1.6 million euros from the IDAE (Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy) which, added to the contributions of other organizations, will allow the implementation of an intermodal, intelligent and sustainable network of electric transport in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra within 24 months.

This achievement marks a new horizon in the future of mobility in the cultural landscape of the Ribeira Sacra, consolidating the lines established in the Ribeira Sacra Tourism Sustainability Plan and in the Advancement of the Ribeira Sacra Sustainable Mobility Plan, works in which  Crecente Asociados worked. The proposal submitted to the call for the MOVES Program is aligned with both of them. In the images that accompany this text, we share some studies carried out by our team and we remember the Sustainable Mobility Day held in Santo Estevo in June 2021.
