The Juana de Vega Foundation organized on 8 and 9 November 2018 in Ribeira Sacra the international workshop "A future for the land: cultural landscapes, rural management and geographical information systems". A summary of the aforementioned Workshop can be downloaded at this link
As a continuation to the Workshop, the Juana de Vega Foundation promotes a publication in English that collects its conclusions, with special reference to the case of the cultural landscape of Ribeira Sacra. Mario Crecente coordinates this publication, structured in various chapters, by international experts participating in the November seminar, together with other guest authors.
Recently, a meeting was held at the UNESCO World Heritage Center, in which the authors shared the initial version of their articles and agreed lines of analysis for the final versions. After the delivery of the final texts and the subsequent graphic edition, it is expected that the book will be published after the summer, both in digital and on paper.
