Subject: Environment, Thermal Heritage, Plannng, Training

Description:

From 3rd to 7th April the International Seminar "WATER AGES", organised by the Galician School of Landscape and coordinated by Mario Crecente, was held at the Chaves-Verín Euro-city.

The seminar, focused on the role of water as a constructor of the landscape, was structured in several theoretical sessions by the following specialists: Joao Nunes, Paul T.Simons, Barbara Van der Wee, Luis de Ramón, Mercedes Máquez and Mario Crecente. These sessions where combined with visits to places of interest and workshops.

As a result of this comprehensive reflection on the thermal landscapes, their configuration, recycling and uses, along with their relationship with environmental values and health; the students formulated management and territorial planning proposals for Eurocity, which can serve as a basis for possible projects.
