A future for the land: Cultural Landscapes, Rural Management, and Geographic Information Systems

On the 8th and 9th of November, Crecente Asociados organized the Workshop: "A future for the land: Cultural Landscapes, Rural Management, and Geographic Information Systems", which was commissioned by the Juana de Vega Foundation.

The event was held in Santo Estevo de Ribas de Sil Parador where both international specialists and local experts attended. Each one of them presents a very different profile in order to enrich the debate and tackling the presented problems from a holistic and multi-criteria perspective.

Rural management, depopulation, and the role of new technologies in landscape protection were the key issues on which presentations, debates, and visits were made for a better understanding of the territory. We share some photos of the event.
