Horizon 2020

The European Historic Thermal Towns Association (EHTTA) pursues to encourage, protect and enhance the thermal heritage throughout Europe. On the basis of its principles and values, EHTTA made Crecente Asociados responsible for preparing and submitting the proposal "thermal heritage of europe network (the network)" to the Horizon 2020 Programme (topic SC5-19-2018: “International network to promote cultural heritage innovation and diplomacy”).

The objective of "the network" is the protection and valorisation of thermal heritage, based on research, established data and knowledge, best practice and resilient examples spread across the Europe Union, the Council of Europe, and globally. The consortium is formed by 10 actors, in 8 countries, from research groups and associations, to public and private agents, including NGO’s.

After the summer we will know the result of the evaluation process. We hope it would be successful in order to develop a coordinated action that will contribute to a more extensive protection and preservation of thermal heritage, and optimal use of its innovation potential for sustainable development.
