European Historic Thermal Towns Association: Meeting in Brussels

On February 20th, Mario Crecente, Vice President of the European Historic Thermal Towns Association (EHTTA) Scientific Committee and Hugo Oliveira, Caldas da Rainha Vice Mayor, travelled to Brussels to meet Carlos Moedas, the Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation.

During the meeting, they presented the Thermal Heritage of Europe Atlas project, which EHTTA actively drives since 2016, as well as its current status and strategies for future development, highlighting the forthcoming proposal for one of the Horizon 2020 calls.

Also during his stay in Brussels, Mario Crecente attended the "Civil Society for reunaissance" event on behalf the EHTTA. The event was organized by European Economic and Social Committee and focused on how to mobilize civil society in the run-up to the European elections.
