European Cultural Heritage Summit "Sharing Heritage, Sharing Values"

Mario Crecente, as Vice President of the European Historic Thermal Towns Association, has attended to the European Cultural Heritage Summit, held in Berlin from 18 to 24th June.

The event, considered as one of the key events of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, aimed to promote an ambitious European Agenda and Action Plan for Cultural Heritage. It was attended by a wide range of representatives of EU Institutions, member states and civil society organisations from all over Europe.

Among other acts, such as the heritage excellence fair or the award-giving ceremony for the EU Prize for Cultural Heritage/Europa Nostra Awards 2018, the “Berlin Call to action, Cultural Heritage for the Future of Europe” was presented. It calls “Member states, regions and cities in Europe to continue to develop holistic and ambitious policy and action plans for cultural heritage”.
